A peacock perches on a rock in profile, its sapphire neck turned to the left and its long jewelled train cascading down the canvas in eyes of blue, bronze and gold. Pink lotuses bloom on gold-edged lotus leaves around it against a mottled teal and antique-gold ground, in the manner of a Pichwai temple painting.
The peacock is the mount of Kartikeya and its feather crowns Krishna, a sign of grace and beauty. Part of the Kamal Van collection of sacred animals in the lotus pond.
Printed just for you, and made to bring your walls to life.
Canvas
- Material: PolyCanvas fabric, stretched tight over a sturdy wooden frame
- Gallery wrap: the artwork continues around the sides of the frame, so it looks finished from every angle and needs no extra frame
- Surface: a soft, textured canvas finish with no glare, so the art reads well in any light
- Hanging: arrives ready to hang
- Sizes: the size you choose is the front face of the canvas. 8 × 8 in is 20 × 20 cm, 8 × 12 in is 20 × 30 cm, 16 × 20 in is 41 × 51 cm and 20 × 30 in is 51 × 76 cm
- Best for: living rooms, pooja rooms and entrances, and a thoughtful gift for a housewarming or festival
Print quality & care
- Print: sublimation printed into the canvas fabric, for fade-proof colour that lasts
- Inks: OEKO-TEX certified inks, free of toxic substances
- Made to order: printed individually when you order, never pulled from stock
- Colour: colours can vary slightly between your screen and the print
- Care: dust with a soft, dry cloth. Keep it out of strong direct sunlight and away from damp walls
