Shiva as Nataraja, Lord of the Dance, caught mid-step in deep ink: the damaru raised in one hand, his other hands open in blessing and sweeping across his body, matted locks flying, with the serpent and the crescent moon at his head. Grey washes swirl round him like smoke, and a rough circle of brushed ink rings him like the arch of fire.
Nataraja's dance is the rhythm of the universe, creating, sustaining and dissolving all things. Part of the Dev Chhaya collection of gods and goddesses in ink-wash silhouette.
Printed just for you, and made to bring your walls to life.
Canvas
- Material: PolyCanvas fabric, stretched tight over a sturdy wooden frame
- Gallery wrap: the artwork continues around the sides of the frame, so it looks finished from every angle and needs no extra frame
- Surface: a soft, textured canvas finish with no glare, so the art reads well in any light
- Hanging: arrives ready to hang
- Sizes: the size you choose is the front face of the canvas. 8 × 8 in is 20 × 20 cm, 8 × 12 in is 20 × 30 cm, 16 × 20 in is 41 × 51 cm and 20 × 30 in is 51 × 76 cm
- Best for: living rooms, pooja rooms and entrances, and a thoughtful gift for a housewarming or festival
Print quality & care
- Print: sublimation printed into the canvas fabric, for fade-proof colour that lasts
- Inks: OEKO-TEX certified inks, free of toxic substances
- Made to order: printed individually when you order, never pulled from stock
- Colour: colours can vary slightly between your screen and the print
