Every wall art design in our store comes in up to four finishes: glossy acrylic, a framed print, an unframed poster and metal. They show the same artwork, but they look, hang and cost quite differently. Here is the same design in each, side by side, so you can choose the right one for your wall.
The short answer
- Acrylic if you want the richest colour and a modern, frameless look. Great for living rooms and gifts.
- Framed if you want a classic look, or a set of three hung in a row above a mandir or sofa.
- Unframed poster if you are on a budget, renting, or already have a frame you like.
- Metal if the piece is going somewhere humid, like near a kitchen or bathroom.

Acrylic: the richest colour
The artwork is printed directly onto a 3 mm sheet of clear acrylic, which gives it a glossy, glass-like surface and makes the colours look deeper than on paper. There is no frame, so it looks clean and modern, and it fits both contemporary and traditional rooms. It mounts with an adhesive wall mount, so you don't need to drill, which suits rented homes. On a rough or textured wall, check that the mount sits flat first.
Choose acrylic for a statement piece in the living room, above a pooja unit, or as a gift that looks finished straight out of the box.
Framed: the classic choice
A framed print is the artwork on 300 GSM art paper, laminated for protection and set in a 1-inch frame in black or white. There is no glass in front, so there is no glare when you photograph your mandir, and nothing to crack in transit. The thin film on the print when it arrives is only there to protect it during shipping; peel it off.
Black frames suit warm, wooden interiors and make bright colours stand out. White frames look lighter and suit pale walls. Framed prints work especially well as a set, hung in a row.
Unframed poster: the budget pick
The unframed poster is printed on thick 300 GSM art board and ships rolled in a tube, with adhesive tapes included so you can put it up straight away. It is the most affordable way to bring a design home, and the right choice if you already own a frame or want to frame it to match your furniture. It also comes in the largest size we offer, 24 × 36 inches.
Metal: for humid rooms
Metal prints are made on 1 mm aluminium with a glossy finish, and they are waterproof, so steam and humidity won't harm them. That makes metal the best choice near a kitchen mandir, in a bathroom or in a damp coastal home. They come with a magnet mount and in two sizes, A4 and A3, on selected designs such as the Ornate Pink Lotus Mandala, Rainbow Murlidhar Krishna and Shiv Parvati Divine Union.
Buying more than one? Choose a set
Some designs are made to hang together. A set of two costs 5% less than buying the pieces separately, and a set of three costs 10% less. Choose the finish once and every piece in the set matches.
